Then, out of nowhere, it happens: the shot of a lifetime, an unlikely birdie to take a skin, maybe even winning closest to the pin. Just like that, we’re hooked all over again.
I’ll be back next week… and chances are I’ll have squeezed in a couple more rounds before league night—because, somehow, I just can’t get enough of this game.
