I took over a golf course that had 5 in house leagues and managing everything couldn't be any easier. Setting up the seasons is a piece of cake, and with the ease of the scoring interface as well as automated prizes, the leagues pretty much run themselves. I would recommend the GolfLeagueSite to anyone looking to make running their leagues easier. In addition, Mark Walters, who runs the site, is there to help whenever needed. I've called on him multiple times and his reply is always quick and fixes whatever issue I'm having. Jul 29, 2019 | Awesome and we've been waiting for this!!!: The website has continually progressed over the years. Every time I'd like to see some stats, I look around and there it is. Also, the live scoring is beyond my dreams once it becomes more common place.
Jul 28, 2020 | Absolutely amazing app! I love it it keeps multiple handicaps for my league as well as my world handicap. If that's not enough for you it also provides a live scoring during week play in courts information for every course across the country truly amazing!!
Feb 8, 2022 | What's not to like?: I can't say enough good things about GLS and I sure am glad we decided to use them. Sure there are other golf league management products that are less expensive (and plenty that are more expensive too). But unless your league fits a basic model that these others support, or are willing to adapt to one, you're SOL. GLS customized to most everything we wanted at a very reasonable price that was within our budget. The GLS core product without any customizations is very good too all by itself. Here are just a few examples. (1) No other product I looked at implemented all the features of the WHS which GLS does, down to the little-known ones like Exceptional Score and Low Handicap Index. (2) Click on any handicap to see well-explained details of how it is calculated. (3) A good user interface that looks and acts the same on the website and the app. And lastly, the GLS customer service is phenomenal!! Getting GLS up and running for our league was no small task for us. Mark Walters at GLS worked with us night and day and weekends to get it working the way we wanted by our target date. I'm sure we've had hundreds of email communications and I can only remember one time during this period (on a weekend) that he did not respond within 24 hours. And probably more than half were within a few hours. Is it perfect? Well...no, but pretty darn close. Any bugs I found were quickly fixed. Some customizations I would have liked were too pricey for us :-( But all-in-all, I doubt you'll find a better product and company. For the relatively little amount of money GLS is getting from us (with no guarantee of future income) and the amount of time and effort GLS have spent on us, I sometimes wonder how they are making a profit. This can only work for GLS because the product and service is so darn good that people stay with them a long time.
Mar 25, 2022 | GLS has changed our league: Last year was our first year using the GLS software and we couldn't be happier. Prior to GLS, we were using spreadsheets, calculators, and paper leaderboards. GLS has allowed us to automate almost everything imaginable and the Live Scoring feature, via the app, has become extremely popular. Probably more than anything, I appreciate how responsive Mark is and that he's always seeking ways to improve the product! Thanks for modernizing our club!
