How do I request a substitute?
Go to the information tab under the St. Paul Golf League and choose Substitutes. From there you can request any substitute for you or your teammate based on their availability. You will receive an email stating whether they can play or not for the requested match day. The iOS (iPhone) mobile app is currently unable to perform the substitute request function but you can still access the website.
Why did my team's handicap change when we utilized a substitute?
A team's handicap may be adjusted depending on which substitute is playing and depending on which player they are subbing in for.
Who do I call to see if the course is open due to possible weather?
You can reach Boca Lago Pro Shop at 561-487-9273. League Managers will also work closely with Boca Lago and do everything they can to notify everyone in the league by 4pm each Tuesday.
Is there an added cost for range balls at the course prior to the St. Paul Golf League?
No
Is our league manager's mustache real?
Yes and no. He accidentally super glued on a mustache for a party in the 2nd grade and was never able to get it off.
How do I mark my team’s score for Net Double Bogey?
If your team is NOT getting a stroke on a hole, then the max you will score on the hole is +2 on the Live Scoring in the Mobile App.If your team IS getting a stroke on a hole, then the max you will score on a hole is +3.
What tees do I hit from?
Please reference the appropriate league tees in the rules document, which can be found in the Rules portion of the website and mobile app.
How do I pay for my registration and greens fees?
Option 1: How to Pay on Golfleaguesite.com from a Computer: - Visit GolfLeagueSite.com - Click "Login", which will be found in the top right corner of the page - Once logged in and you have chosen St. Paul Golf League, you will then click on “Register Here", written in red across the top. - You can now choose different Events including Registration and pay with a debit or credit card - Keep in mind, you can choose to pay for yourself, your partner, your friend, your League Manager, etc. Option 2: How to Pay from a Mobile Phone: - Login to the GLS mobile app - Choose “Registration” which is one of the main options on the opening page. - You can now choose different Events including Registration and pay with a debit or credit card. How is a golf handicap determined?
Simplest way to explain this is that a golf handicap is an average of your Best 8 of your last 20 rounds. If you do the math, then you will find that a golfer only shoots his/her handicap or better about 23% of the time.
