When do the Rough Riders play and how often?
The season lasts from early April until late October and spans 15 weeks, 14 regular season weeks plus a Club Championship. This season there have been 12 Sundays and 3 Saturdays, generally a mid-morning start (9:30-10:30am) if available.
Where does the Rough Riders GC play?
We play all over the Delaware Valley, but mainly in southern NJ. Every season we incorporate a Delaware date, a Philly area date, and a date in either Mercer or Monmouth County NJ. In varies however since our members vote every off season on what courses they prefer and the board takes that into consideration.
What are the fees to play in the Rough Riders GC?
On top of the greens fee at the course, members with a handicap pay $20 in weekly fees for points, pins, a 50/50 and a hole-in-one pot. Those who do not have a handicap yet pay $11 for pins, a 50/50 and a hole-in-one pot. There are also multiple voluntary games to pay into at each event.
Does a member have to make every event?
You can play as often as you would like as weekly fees are not collected up front before the season, but rather weekly at each event attended.
How can you join as a full member or come out once to see what it's about?
Full members are added each off-season but we are always looking to fill out foursomes during the season, and we have alternates for that. Being an alternate is the best way to become a full member.
