Description

Flighted format where individuals simultaneously play separate net stroke play and stableford competitions. Gold Cup awards points to net scores as follows: 1st - 5, 2nd - 4, 3rd - 3, 4th - 2, 5th - 1. Stableford awards a player's course handicap as the starting points, adding in the following values for gross scores on each hole: Double eagle 25, Eagle 10, Birdie 5, Par 2, Bogey 0, Double Bogey -1, Triple or worse -2

This system is designed for use in 18-hole leagues

Score Type

Standard - Rules of Golf followed on a rated course during its active season

Measured By

Points - The standings for this scoring system are dictated by a points system, where each golfer can earn points in each event based on their performance.

Format

Flighted - There are two or more divisions into which the field is separated so that golfers only compete against other golfers in their division.

Field - Each golfer competes against the entire field in each event
