Rating

Description

2-player team 9-hole format that uses an 4-point scoring system, which is a combination of 1.5 points best ball match play and 2 points cumulative stroke play and a final half point to the team with the lowest individual 18-hole score.

For each 3-hole set (1-3, 4-6, 7-9) there is 1 point: 0.5 point for the team with that wins the most holes and 0.5 point for the team with the lower cumulative total. Ties in each set split the points. The final 1 point is earned on the total 9-hole scores: 0.5 point for the team with the lower cumulative total and 0.5 point for the team with the player who has the lowest individual 9-hole score in the match.

If either team has only one player, then that team forfeits both of the cumulative points. Teams are fixed throughout the season.
