The Race Points System

Rating

Description

Individual 18-hole format that supports a season-long points race, where each 18-hole round generates a point total. Points are awarded as follows:

Net birdie - 2 points
Net eagle - 4 points

During each week of the season, players can submit as many rounds as they want but only the best attested round from that week contributes to their point total for the season.

This system is designed for use in 18-hole leagues

Score Type

Standard - Rules of Golf followed on a rated course during its active season

Measured By

Points - The standings for this scoring system are dictated by a points system, where each golfer can earn points in each event based on their performance.

Format

Individual - Each golfer competes on an individual basis, without any teammates.

Scoring Format

Field - Each golfer competes against the entire field in each event
