Welcome to the Denver Black Birdies rules page.

The league will run on Wednesdays, with a 15-week season and tournament play (2 weeks).
The app will be used for live scoring, handicaps, and standings.

60 seconds to find your ball out of bounds.
Time length of play - 2:30 Hrs
Ready Golf should be used to keep rounds moving.
Members are encouraged to help there playing partners to keep pace of play, count, and score.

1 mulligan per round, anywhere on the course.
Players should mark their ball before putting, so they can return the ball to the correct spot if needed for their 1 per round mulligan.
If a ball in is an unplayable course condition (ex: fairway repair) relief or adjustment may be allowed.
Reasonable relief allowed from fence line on hole #6, par 5.
Triple bogey max per hole - must pick up ball and keep pace of play

If someone misses a week, we will use a substitute score (1 stroke plus the highest round that week) instead of a zero, so the league stays competitive.
All players will start with handicap from prior season. App will update handicaps weekly as players play.
- New subs will come into play on the handicap of the player they are replacing with one additional stroke.
Score will be tracked in the app and should be entered the same night, by 11:59 pm.
Members are asked to inform group chat timely if they cannot play and submit sub in App prior to the round.
